The Newman (London) - Opening Winter 2025
The Newman is the first hotel by international hospitality management company Kinsfolk & Co, and will open on its namesake Newman Street in Fitzrovia, this winter. The hotel has been designed by Lind + Almond who were inspired by Fitzrovia’s architectural style – an intriguing tapestry of Victorian nuances and Art Deco touches together with the intellectually curious characters that called it home in its golden years of the 1920s-50s, including writer and heiress Nancy Cunard. This nod towards Art Deco is a timely touch as the iconic style celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025. The hotel will have 81 bedrooms – including a beautiful Penthouse Suite with a private terrace and sauna overlooking the rooftops of London. An expansive wellness floor will feature a medical-grade halotherapy room, ice lounge, Finnish sauna, hydrotherapy pool and steam room with treatments by Moss of the Isles, Kloris and Nuori. Guests will be able to choose from two bars and a restaurant, Brasserie Angelica.
